UNITED AT BREAKING POINT AHEAD OF PSG CLASH

Manchester United face PSG in a crunch clash at the ParcDes Prince in what promises to be a classic. However, the Premier League side are severely weakened with a host of injury problems which would give interim boss Ole Gunnar Solkjaer a selection headache.

Anthony Martial has been ruled out of the clash as he is yet to recover from the injury suffered during the first leg of the tie three weeks ago. Fellow forward Jesse Lingard is also nursing a hamstring injury after he was rushed back for the derby against Liverpool two weeks ago.

Nemanja Matic suffered an injury in training before the clash against Liverpool and is expected to miss the clash alongside Ander Herrera who is nursing a niggling injury. Juan Mata also went out with a knee problem in the game against Liverpool and did not travel with the squad to Paris.

Alexis Sanchez is the latest to join the treatment table after suffering a Season ending injury in the clash at home to Southampton. The Chilean is expected to be out for six to eight weeks after rupturing his knee ligaments.

To add to their troubles star midfielder Paul Pogba is not part of the squad as he was issued a Red Card for a dangerous challenge on Dani Alves in the first leg at Old Trafford.

Lukaku is likely to start up front alongside Marcus Rashford who recovered from an injury scare against Liverpool and played in the victory at home to Southampton.

It would also be a big game for Fred who has failed to impress after his big money move from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer as he would be expected to start in the midfield tonight.

Solksjaer would have to dig deep into his squad to put out a team that is capable of mounting an unexpected comeback in Paris
