PSG Ambitious For New Challenges

PSG secured their 2nd consecutive Ligue 1 title as the side of Laurent Blanc concluded the season by claiming a 4-0 triumph against Montpellier and the French team is ambitious for new challenges in their next campaign.

PSG’s victory against Montpellier was their 27th which is the most victories ever recorded in a French league in a single season and this is evidence of the dominance that Laurent Blanc and his players had for the majority of the recently concluded season.

Laurent Blanc is now looking to reinforce his squad but not only to protect their League silverware but to compete against Europe’s best in the Champions League.

David Luiz is a highly rated defender who has already represented his nation at the international stage and he will be playing with his country man Thiago Silva in PSG.

Not too long ago Uefa sanctioned PSG with their finantial fair play rules which forces the French team on having to pay upwards to €60 million as Uefa is trying to look for a way to regulate the amount of signings and price tag which are being paid throughout clubs around the world.

This sanction does not seem to be stopping PSG in any way as they were willing to pay around €40 million for the Brazilian defender David Luiz and rumors are linking PSG with Petr Cech as they are interested in signing the veteran shot-stopper from Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

PSG has never been able to lift the Champions League trophy but they are preparing themselves for the next season by signing some of the best players around the world as more arrivals are expected to be made by PSG during the summer transfer window.
