PATO WANTED AT PSG

Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has said that he has not forgotten about AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato and that he would be still interested in buying him in the summer.

Carlo Ancelotti had a special relationship with Alexandre Pato at AC Milan before joining Chelsea. The Italian manager had two extremely successful years at Chelsea, but was unfortunately sacked by the owner Roman Abramovich in his quest for winning the Champions League.

Ancelotti did not have great success in this competition at Chelsea, which ultimately led to his sacking. Now, the former AC Milan manager is at French club PSG, who are being backed by the Qatari owners.

PSG have spent a lot of money in the last two transfer windows. They are expected to spend heavily in the summer once again in order to improve their squad, as they look to do well in the Champions League group stages next season. The team are currently battling at the top of the French Ligue 1 in order to secure the title.

AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato has been struggling with a lot of injuries in recent seasons, with the famed Milan lab unable to rectify his situation. He tried to come back in the match against Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals, but suffered a recurrence of the injury, which has now ruled him out for the rest of the season.

“Pato was one of our targets in January, and remains one of our transfer targets for the future. It’s true that he has been injured a lot, but I still consider him to be an extraordinary talent who can prove himself to everybody,” Ancelotti said recently. PSG have also been linked with the likes of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, who is on the fringes of the first team.
