EdinsonCavani will not be sold

For the past few months, the Uruguayan attacker EdinsonCavani was believed to be unhappy in PSG due to his role in the French club as he has to play in a wide position which isn’t his preferred role but since ZlatanIbrahimovic is in the team as well, Cavani is the one who is being used as a scapegoat.

Napoli was being linked with a move to Cavani. It was with the Italian club where Cavani truly managed to stand out and make performances at a high level but the president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al Khelaifi has shut down the rumors that were linking Cavani with a move away from the club.

Nasser Al Khelaifi stated that EdinsonCavani is the future of PSG and will not be sold.

“Of course.Cavani is the future of the club. He’s a great player, a great striker, a great man. There’s no problem.”

Even though the president of Paris Saint-Germain shut down the rumors that involved Cavani being sold during the summer transfer window, this hasn’t stopped reports from emerging. More and more clubs appear to be interested in signing the Uruguayan forward including: Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Juventus.

Manchester United is rumored to be preparing an offer in the region of €60 million in order to lure in Cavani into Old Trafford.

If PSG receive a good enough offer from a club in the summer, it would be better off for the French outfit to offload Cavani as the player has never truly managed to come out of the shadows of ZlatanIbrahimovic and this cash injection can help the team in signing a player that can fit better in the squad.
